Our brand new house is in a beautiful gated development of holidays homes at Riverrun, Lough Dooley, Belturbet. It is located on the banks of the River Erne and offers the holiday maker and fishing enthusiast the highest of standards in self-catering accommodation with the most stunning views over the river and marina. It also offers stunning views of Ballyconnell from the Scandinavian style master bedroom with en suite. 2 further double bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs .. Downstairs is a large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, a fourth double bedroom and full bathroom. It is a large 4 bed house (1,800 sqf), so plenty of room to relax. It is equipped with all a guest would need to make you feel at home such as a fully equipped kitchen, nespresso machine, lounge with comfortable sofas and a large flat screen TV, private entertainment area . WiFi is provided free of charge. A welcome pack will await you for your stay. Electricity and gas are extra.

The development comes with direct access to the River Erne for boating, fishing, water sports and swimming. RiverRun has its own private mooring for guests. It truly is the ideal base for exploring the Shannon-Erne waterway. Boats can be hired locally in Belturbet. Is in a beautiful setting in one of Cavan’s most popular tourist spots, particularly with anglers. It is the longest natural inland navigational waterway in Europe, the Shannon-Erne waterway has over 300 miles to explore and Cavan has 365 lakes, 1 for every day of the year. No license or fee is required to enjoy coarse fishing in Co Cavan. The Shannon-Erne waterway is situated in the only International Geopark with protected wildlife sanctuaries offering the visitor many varied walks and wildlife spotting opportunities.
